yaks bend ?

:D way far behind, it's ok, another month still before Factions :D

Which of the missions have you done so far:
- Great North Wall
- Fort Ranik
- Ruines of Surmia
- Nolani Academy

After you have done those four you are at Yaks Bend. Rather use the missions to get there than try to run there. No point in both breaking the story mission sequence and making it harder for yourself.

lol ....

I've finished the Fort Ranik, that's when the Charr overrun the Fort defences?
Hmmm, still some way too go it's seems...

Oh well, guess i'll have too make sure the mrs. is entertained this weekend so i can get some serious game time under the belt.

Well if you do get the time dont hesitate to ask for help. My character name is Grizzly Grip and i'll come help you out wherever i can

I have to do Thunderhead Keep tonight, and I have allready worked up a cold sweat, as I have heard nasty things about this mission. :)

Or I can just go and Capture some Elite skills. Hmmm, that isactually not a bad idea.....

Changing server

How do I change from the EU server to the american Server?

I would recommend EU. In the later areas is can be very hard to form a party in in evening our time on the US servers. It is just easier to form parties if there are plenty others around.

For this mission I have done it the following number of times before I had success with each of my characters:
Ele: 10
Mesmer: 1 (with only 6 people as well, two dropped.)
Monk: 3

This mission really needs a good party. It can also be done with hench, but is pretty hard to do that way. With my ele I did it with hench in the end.

EU Servers, because most of the time when we play in the evenings we have "faction from the gods" (If I remember correctly that is what irs called). What this basically does is give you access to certain high level places and quests. The 2 places I recall are Fissure of Woe and The Underworld (wich leads to the Hall of Heroes). You can get here by kneeling(type /kneel) if front of the statues of Grenth(Underworld) and Balthazar(Fissure of Woe?) in the Temple of Ages.

I dont think there are a big difference in ping times and latency between the US and EU servers.

One important thing with THK is to face it head on. Trying to avoid it and in the end you have all your characters stuck there. Consider a team that does the torch trick. That is how my monk did it.

The torch trick is where the team has a warrior that for the last part holds one of the torches and has a monk protection bond him. The warrior then tries to agro everything that enters the keep and all the other party members then try to kill them as fast as possible. Since the warrior carries the torch, most enemies will attack him exclusively. It is a boring job for the warrior, since the warrior can do nothing while holding the torch, but it directs all the damage to the toughest member of the party. Parties like this need one real warrior and one real monk. The other monk can be Alesia and and it is actually best it all the other group members after that are all non-warriors for maximum damage per second.

Guild

How and where do you start\register a Guild??
And what is the price? Do you need to be a certain level do do this??
And on what level can you be more than 2 party members

Thanx for you guys help i appreciate it:D
