Guild Wars, questions...

it was the weirdest thing: the 1 minute it did nothing and the next I'm in.

but luckily everything is sorted out now, so I am being very happy with my gaming :D
 
Yes, one has to remember that just selecting an enemy and casting for example a fireball on it will not make the henchies attack. It is only when one press space or double click for a normal attack that the hench jump into action.

So, here I was early hrs of the morning (just after 00:00), trudging along, helping guys with the Kryta Titan quest and .........

Telkom (naturally) decides to do maintenance on MY ADSL exchange, the audicity!! I tell ya :( And they only sent the notice out 5 hrs before they are going to do the work, when no one is in the office anymore. plonkers! :mad:

Got online again with GPRS but the party decided to continue with 6 anyway (another guy from SA also got dissed, but he is from JHB)

At least I did have some measure of success in completing an other Titan quest :D
 
I was also on that time doing the villianty quest (spelling) with 4000xp and i had some noob in my party constantly spamming wts silver dye
 
Just like Telkom doing maintenance in the middle of the night over weekends essentially ending your R7 call more prematurely ....

Stinks of conspiracy i tell ya.

hehehe...makes sense. My ADSL also seems to have gotten disconnected last night sometime during the early hours of the morning. Glad I'm not the only one.
 
So, how many guys in this forum are playing GW actively at the moment?
or are most of you waiting for Factions?
 
Im part of sonic blades i think its called I just joined the guild when I was a noob and havent really bothered getting another one but the guild Im in is currently dying out havent seen a member online in about 5 days :p

btw I found other south africans in lions arch last night looking for south african players to form a guild so i also pointed them to this forum :D

Just out of interrest ....do u guys know where the term Saffers orignated ? :rolleyes: Think about a word that was used in the appartheid era......... thats it .... That's why the stupid Pommies refer to us as Saffers.....

Do Guilds in Prophecies carry over to Factions or do we need to create a new Guild in Factions?
