Man i hate it when that happens and then the other player get mad at you thinking youre a loser or something.....:mad:
 
i have been playing the Aurora Glade mission just for the drops and have to admit that those White Mantle buggers do give nice drops most of the time! :D
 
@useless, I have also been getting some good drops in Riverside Province and The Wilds, quite a few times now. :cool:
 
i still have to find a superior rune of any kind... golden drops only give me Major runes thus far... sigh...
 
@useless, keep at it man. You will get them. I have picked up quite a few already. All warrior sup runes for instance. :D
 
so a golden drop COULD also have a superior rune? the only kit you can use on it is the Expert Salvage right?
 
dang, so you need luck even when salvaging the darn buggers...

I as yet haven't had a Green item drop, and that's over a months worth of play, talk about rare.

well if you live in jhb then you're in luck:

i have physically seen:

sandton city incredible connection - has pre order boxes (bought mine for R50 from there)
bt games shop in fourways mall has plenty of pre order boxes
assuming other bt games branches has just as many but phone and find out

You're farming in completly the wrong places then. If you want a guaranteed Green drop then you need to farm SF, preferably in a 4 or 5 man team.

Also you mentioned earlier about pulling a sup ranger run from a pink item. Not possible I'm afraid. Sup runes can only be found in Gold items.
 
Sorrows Furance is outside of Deldrimor War Camp in the Southern Shiverpeak mountains.

Not advisable for anybody who isn't level 20. It contains most of the green drops in the game. It must be said however that the market is flooded with greens. There aren't very many greens left that fetch a hefty price on the market. Most of the greens get sold for 1-5k if that.
 
@mccrack, ye you not walking in the right areas to even remotely get a green drop. :D

@useless, SF is Sorrow's Furnace (North of Droknar, Deldrimor War Camp town in Grenth's Footprint map), an ANet post-release game map addition with its own missions.

And aCe is correct, you can only get sup runes from gold drops, major runes you get from gold and purple drops, minor runes from purple and blue drops.
