Guild Wars, questions...

I want to unite all the South African Guild Wars players under one banner... if any of you have some suggestions please let me know.

I've put 50+ hours of coding into my fan site and I'm adding new stuff every night or so. We need one place where Guild Wars is discussed instead of 3-5 different sites.

I need feedback and suggestions :)
 
People, please help...I have a crises on hand :eek:

I just got an e-mail from allyoucaneat that says that they are going to end the allyoucaneat account on the 31 may. Is there another isp that can offer that much cap (or atleast 20gigs) that i can game on locally (and of course play GW ).


Just should probably be in another thread, but i do trust u guys and i know the advice will be sound :)

please help me :(
 
Hi guys, greetings form me -a new member.
I want to ask a silly question: Can you play GW @ 800x600.
I'm on holiday and have this burning ake to play some GW tonight, only prob is, I have only a 14" screen with me. Help is needed despirately!!

just checked now 800x600 is no prob

Ok, then you must help me with one more thing; when I left home it was set to 1280x1024 for my 17", now when I start it I only see strips on the 14" and I can't see eneything.I know you get the Opstions menu by pressing F11. Now if you can only give me the sequence on how to chance it with the keyboard I will be very gratefull!!!!!
(eg. press tab, x2 down arr, x1 right, enter, x2 up, enter, 5x down, enter...you know what I mean?)
 
Have you tried pressing Alt+Enter to take the game into windowed mode?

re the isp thing, there are several out there, of course prices differ, so don't know if that is an issue for you.

yea, i can only go as high as R700 :(

really have no idea what to do...

well i got my GuildWars Factions from Take2 and i even got a nice mousepad with it and inside the game was a guildwars factions poster as well ....now i just with that i was not already capped.....
 
Got capped today on my saix account so I have to wait till the new month until i can play again and do my final tests to ascend.

@Soulburner & DS, What a downer to be capped at such an important juncture!!

..must ..play ....more .... to make up for .... 'fallen' comrades.. :D
 
dunno if there are any others that can reaffirm but I had some serious lag earlier.
In fact our whole party had lag (not all SA).
Another guy (SA) I know also had lag, while some others (SA) reported nothing whatsoever.
Strange, no? :p
 
Have you checked which ones are on shaped vs unshaped ADSL accounts maybe?

i had same experience the day before....very frustrating....
cant say i've had any today tho. sorry :(
 
No, it didn't bother me that much. No disconnections. Have had a lot worse. It literally happened for a coupla minutes and then it was fine again. Rest of the day has been very smooooooth. :D
 
Any1 else lagging in guildwars I just tried playing factions and I cant even move 2 steps forward without being pulled 10 steps back
