Guild Wars, questions...

im on the #guildwars irc channel on shadowfire.... guys there also complaining about lag...
 
here a doof question for you.....

if you missed the bonus on a mission..... can you go back redo the mission up until the bonus portion - get the bonus and then leave ? or do you have to redo the whole mission till completion ?
 
dan afak u can go back and just do the mission but if u wanne do that rather lfp that only want to do the bonus or start ur own
 
I think their servers are being hammered, or at least some of them are taking strain, coz now and again I (and other guys also online) would get a hiccup, like a 'step-but-not-a-step' kind of thing.
I am especially noticing this for a coupla seconds of delay in especially the big towns and then nothing for hrs again. :p
[I guess it is understandable, Tyria appears to be very quiet these days, in some of the Cantha towns I have seen up to 15 districts for English, Germany has been well over 20!! :D]

Awesome, stunning game thus far!! :D Cant get enough of it!
Keep getting amazed time and time again by the sheer artistry of putting this game together. :cool:

@Dan, sorry missed your question: You can just do the mission up to that specific point you want to (i.e. primary or bonus) and then end it, but remember to be considerate for the rest of the party and ensure all are in it till the end or for the same reason / goal / accomplishment.
Of course if you take henchies, it's all you, man! :D

Just to let u know i was playing GW factions this week-end over GPRS
very little hassle. Just about no lagg @ all. I bought a house in Krugersdorp North so I need to wait for my ADSL to be moved.

Awesome. My Assasin/Ranger is a damn nasty combo.

Just one quick question....... If u win 5 consecutive matches in Random Arena's. There is some kind of reward right ?

Hey post your ingame name's here so we can meet up and share our stories. (Just an idea...)

The following Faction rewards are given in the Random Arenas:
Unique Kill (first kill of any given character in a match) : 20 Faction
Victory: 25 Faction
Consecutive Wins: 25 Faction for every 5 consecutive wins
Flawless Victory (no deaths): 25 Faction
Also, a random team with 10 consecutive wins will be transferred to Team Arenas.

i'll probably chase the bonuses from most of the missions when i'm lvl 20 or something with henchies ;) ( the beginning missions that is )

i'm told you dont stand a snow balls chance in hell with henchies late game...

@pitbull - i've also got an assasin/ranger build - i agree very powerful combo :D

I haven't tried yet for today...WORK :mad:

I use GPRS/Edge and had no issues yesterday...Maybe try useing your phone as a modem....
 
@Pitbull, ye I've played a coupla hrs this morning, am offline now, but will be online later again. As far as I know you can just leave the current guild by opening "G" and left-clicking icon next to your name and say, "Leave this horrible guild" or something like that... :D

@Dan, dunno hey, I kinda like the freedom the henchies give a person, they listen to what you say, but then there are sometimes .... :D
I reckon it is the minority of the missions where you actually need ppl instead of henchies. :cool:

@freeek, Haven't had any lag whatsoever thus far today. It's been smoooth :p

@freeek - mine has also been smooth all day, sorry man - i went through some hectic lag about 2 days ago - and since then its been perfect - so hopefully yours will sort itself out aswell

@lildeath - i agree i enjoy doing quests with the henchies! good to know that they're still usefull late game + getting all the drops rawks :D

Dont have the spec's now but they were all unidentified and the identified...
They're description is purple but there is nowhere i can find the price's on the net...

LilDeath... i know you will know the answer.....lol
