Guild Wars, questions...

currently have 1x lvl 20 char, 2x lvl 16 chars and one lvl 3 in pre-searing Ascalon.

to get to LA you will do the Frost Gate mission and Gates of Kryta missions too. to skip the mission objectives and avoid the main quests you can run from Frost Gate to LA though.... wouldnt advise it if you are following the storyline though.
 
@Pitbull - i regard such "commodities" as cosmetic add-ons one buys to their liking.

GW Prophecies (1st chapter) ROCKS!!
Now GW Factions (2nd chapter) ROCKS even harder!! :D
Got 2 lvl20 chars in prophecies (all missions, plus titan quests)
One lvl20 Assassin in Factions (and she's sexy too :p )
Life is gewd :cool:
 
It is so far. But according to lilDeath this is because as soon as you hit mainland to enemies are all lvl20 ...

Looking at the Cantha map now, lots of towns ....
 
lvling is quick compared to Prophecies. Quest rewards are high iow high Experience points. They have changed character progression quite a bit in factions in this regard.
As mccrack said, once u hit mainland all the baddies are also high lvl chars so walking around there is dangerous for your health. :D

re the lvling in Factions: I do have about 30+hrs of game time already on my Factions char.
I have seen people ascend and reach lvl20 in a lot less, in Prophecies.
 
Is it only my internet speed that is slow or everyone elses too? Im not with telkom so no cap.

I have a lvl 3 Mesmer/Monk (my first character)
lvl 1 Warrior
lvl 13 Necromancer/Mesmer (currently playing)
lvl 9 Ritualist/Ranger

This is sad everyone decent in this game has moved over to Factions :( now there's only ppl that think they know how to play the game left :(
 
well my int. is slow even for GW....we had a power failure last night for about 2 hours and 2 days b4 that Telkom was having line trouble and had no internet for like 24hours... GW has never been so slow it normally downloads at like 50 but not last night and we were having majot lag issues
 
i have been playing the game since last year and i still dont know the game there is still loads that i need to find out.
