Guild Wars, questions...

Recently I've had problems with Iburst I keep gettting the stupid 007 errors :(

besides the downloads the game seems fine... I see there's tons of new updates lately, some good :) but others are rather painful :(

Oh, neither does any of my other chars. It's as if Factions never existed, except for my sexy char portrait :(
So, we finally have an irrevocable answer for this whole pre-order debate... :rolleyes:
Could only gain access to Head Start Event which started the 27th and ended today 9am, I think. That makes it 4 more days to receive my CE retail key... *yikes*
Guess thats about what you could expect for 50 bucks... *pfft*

theres this one huge map i found, actually i think its the one on ur site :o nevermind
 
@ aCe .... does ur Guild have a guildhall?

how does one go about selling their guild or something like it, reason, i have 2 members including myself an no one seems to be interested in joining :(
 
Yeah it's a well known map and I have it too :)

I shrunk the one that's on my site though. I found one that was 8000x4000 or something ridiculous so I made it 5000xsomething to make it more manageable.

Those elite skill maps I've never seen before though so I grabbed them as soon as I found them and uploaded them :)

We do indeed have a Guild Hall. We also have the resource site, a forum, TeamSpeak and we are well on our way to buying additional content for our Guild Hall.

We have about 40 members if not more. We kick all members who haven't been online in two weeks unless they let us know they are going to be away for a while. We like to maintain a roster of active members.

New update allows one to buy xunlani storage agents etc... for ones guild Hall and we currenly have a storage agent and a skill trainer.

You can kick everybody from the guild from your guild menu 'G' and then simply disband the guild by speaking to a guild registrar (I think that's what they are called) in a place like Ascalon

Thats with everyone all over the world... I'm not 100% sure what the problem is but almost every person playing guildwars has been experiencing it on and off. Try www.guildwarsguru.com > Look under the technical forum, im sure there is an article on it.

Nope your money is gone I'm afraid.

As your characters progress and ascend however you can then start farming areas for items, runes and money :)
 
that sux 2 hours hard work for nothing

how does farming work...ive tried the guildwars.com online manual but its says something about apache so i assume its not working, u should put a manual on ur site, itll help for us noobs :)
 
I'm getting there :)

If you've seen the update thread you will see the amount of work going into the site.

Build and Farming guides are deffinately on the todo list as soon as I have the main content in :)
 
If you have any further suggestions please don't hesitate to voice them.

I need as much feedback as possible.
 
@SlayerChick, there were defninite int. problems last night on the SAIX network, which would've caused problems.
Other players have been having quite serious lag issues as well since last week.
Myself haven't had too severe lag issues, haven't any disconnections at all.

@fishfly, I am sure there are still loads others in Prophecies. Plus there will almost always be someone available to talk to or that can help out.
I think it is important to finish Prophecies and then go onto Factions, Mhenlo is quite tightly involved with the Factions story, for instance.
 
Yes I started it with a couple of other people but I suppose you could call me the owner :)

@lildeath... ADSL (saix) is still poked. I've had to VPN into work just to be able to sign into messenger and GW. I seriously hope they sort their rubbish out soon.

I agree with what Fishy has said about only noobs left in prophecies. My last two FoW runs in a barrage team have been disasterous. One run there was only 2 pets including mine. Last night we played with a so called MM who only had mesmer skills :(
 
haha, a N/me claiming hes a mm? why did u let him in ur group?!?!?!
 
MM's have been difficult to find lately with the MM nerf.

We asked him if he was a MM and he said he was. In the end he died so much we decided to stop res'ing him.

Needless to say he finally got the drift and left.
