i agree...#1 does sound like a good idea. But if they implement #2 they MUST implement #1 or else a lot of us r gonna have a bad track record when it comes to "leaving mid flight" :p

also, i finally got my factions, so i will c u all there tonight :D

I just mailed GW support regarding no skills in any quests...

hope they give me some good news
 
I wonder if anyone can help. Ive been looking for ages to find a decent wand (and a good scroll or artifact for once I have the wand), but I havent found anything that looks good. Im an Ele so using a sword or anything like that is stupid. Im playing prophecies and have gotten to Lion's Gate so far.

Im sure there will be cool stuff to find later on but does anyone know where a reasonably good wand could be found up till where I am now in the game?

Thanks mccrack. Much appreciated, anything is better than what im using now. Although I rely on skills during battle, if I have no more energy it helps to have a good fire wand or something like that.

the best "wand" for PVE is a Ragos Flame wand although the Gold flame wand is better IMHO

the off hand would be a Ragos artifact

each item costs about 30k but that was the old pricing I dunno about current...

is it me or does factions have more green useless weapons?????

Geez, I wish I had 30 platinum just lying around. Looks like ill just have to hope that a creature drops something good untill I can get some more money. I usually have about 2 platinum at any given time. Wohoo!! :D
 
Risse go farm at SF to gain that item, doing FA farming will give you ragos every run
 
Not too sure how true this is, but someone mentioned Ingame that when you complete the 13 missions, you get a reward as compensation.. I.e. Shiro's sword
seeing people sell it for around 70k in Keinang Center:eek: will let you guys know when i finish, how true it is.. on the 6th mission now:D

I have heard murmurings of this as well ... However, I heard it would not be for everyone, only a select group, like CE people. :p
In today's build as a "Thank You" to people buying CE, ANet added a special in-game gift for them.
Type /bonusitems to get your special gift. Only one per account. Official ANet extract below:

"Added a special in-game thank you gift for players who purchased the Factions Collector's Edition. Type /bonusitems in an outpost or town to obtain the gift. Only one gift per account will be generated."

@McCrack: Your #1 is being worked on by Arenanet at the moment as far as I know. It has been requested a lot. And thanks, I had great fun in Factions last night. The walking in the city is initially confusing, but one gets used to it. I have not created a new character yet.

@RisseN: I or somebody else can get you a collector fire wand just outside Elona Reach. I doubt if I will be on this evening, so if you need it in a hurry, somebody else will need to grab it for you. I normally farm the needed horns in the first bit of the Elona Reach mission. I use one of those wands myself for my Ele.
 
Yes, my bonus item is a little dragon. Does not seem to have any direct use except to fly around and cause extra lag. :D
 
Thanks for the offer gkm. Im going to go to SF tonight and see what comes of that. Like I said, anything is better than what im using now. Ill just get a party together and then farm, farm, farm.
 
I would just get the collector one if I were you. It might take a lot of farming to get Rago's one. Which is a lot of normal game time down the drain.

Dam, the little dragon is SWEET!! :D I was wondering what type of gift they were actually talking about, iow, a weapon, or armor, mask etc. :D
Is it the same as a mini-pet then?

I agree with gkm. Much quicker and easier to get the one from Elona. My drops sucked last night... :mad:
gkm, guess what bonus I did last nite?? :D
Ye, that's it, the THK bonus. No bloody drops, one or 2 purples, others got golds and a helluva lot of purples. Darn it!! :eek:

Is this linked to your specific character or do you get it on all characters (whole account)?
You must just type the command everytime in order to get it ? :)
