re the alliance thing we spoke about a while back; the guild leader isn't on very much these days, to chat to him... so ye :( :rolleyes:
 
@lilDeath: I thought it was something like that. I agree it is painful in a guild where the guild leader has moved on to other games or whatever, but do not hand over his/her position to another more active member.
 
Armour

Hi there guys. Quick question about armour. What is the difference between normal lvl 20 armour that i buy at a place like Kaineng and the obsidian and ascended armour that i can obtain later in the game? I know they look different but are the latter 2 types any more maxed out than the former. Also what is considered maxed out armour and weaponry and how do i check if mine is maxed out?

Whats up guys. Can someone please give me or show me where to find a good pvp build for an ele/mes for gw factions. My char is like so:
al 60 + 10 against physical attacks
+2 for earth magic
+1 for fire magic
staff gives + 10 energy and pushes energy to about 73
HP is about 475 that includes rune.
The longest i have ever lasted in a pvp is when i maxed out on earth for the armour and fire with aoe spells and had ever fest for energy regen. Then everyone died and they all abused me until i cried.
Build.
stone daggers
armour earth
sliver armour
ether fest
aura of restoration
meteor for knockdown
aftershock for after the knock down
obsidian or dragon stomp in the last one but it varied.
Please help or tell me where to look for a good build.

I would guess they used fraps or something like that to capture the clips and then edited the thing to make the video.

Who has a Grognar's Defender for sale for a fellow south african :D that is not too expensive i dont have enough money or enough time to farm for money lol.:D ;)

You mean the videos on youtube, google, etc?
It is embedded in the browser, so you will probably need codecs for media player and some activex controls for it.
I didnt have to install anything to play them though.
 
I remeber I had to install quicktime before one of those video sites worked. Cannot remember which site it was, since it was a long time ago, so it might not be the ones above.
 
Hello boys and girls.
This site is just a source of inspiration. I have finally completed the mission to kill Shiro and now i can become a proud Kurzick. a few questions though.... I have spoken with the kurzick embassador, paid 500 gold and pledged my allegiance and so on and so forth. Does this mean me and our guild are now allied with the kurzicks? If so what up with the aquisition on 10 000 kurzick faction for count zu heltzer to show i am a friend o the kurzicks. Did'nt i just do that with the embassador, or was that just for the guild.

hehe, hello hybrid76 :)

From your description it sounds like you did not actually 'kill' shiro yet. This only happens at the very last mission of the game. There is one where you think you are going to kill Shiro, but don't. It is the Sunjiang District mission.

You are now at the point where you must do 3 main missions, 'Befriending, Aspenwood and Jade Sea" before being able to really side yourself with the Kurzicks.

The gaining 10K faction points 'Befriending the Kurzicks" mission is a primary mission. You will have to complete this one before being able to progress further into Kurzick country with the storyline. You must do quite a few missions to gain this amount of faction. You should not trade any faction till you have the 10K to complete this mission.

Your guild are now allied with the Kurzicks, yes. You only showed your allegiance to the Kurzicks by doing the embassador thing.
This has no impact on the 'Befriending the Kurzicks" mission, which is part of the storyline.
