Guitar Hero 2 Challenge

But the big question remains. Will my GHII guitar work 100% with GHIII ? What more could they possible add to the guitar, right?
 
Apparently the GH2 guitars will work 100% with GHIII, the problem is Rock band.

Rock band is being developed by the guys that developed GH/GH2, but they sold the GH IP to Activision, so they've designed all the equipment, I imagine it's going to be a case of licensing.

I am looking on test driving this game. I have a PS3 and what to know if its backwards compatible with this specific PS2 game. The other thing is where is the best place to go and buy or see a demo of the game.

Hy gunslinger, unfortunately the answer is no. GH is not BC on the PS3.

The other issue that may be a problem is that the GHIII bundles with the guitar are delayed, until when I don't know, but basically you'd need a GH/GHII controller.

Do you know when they are going to release it here in SA. I hope before Xmas. Was also looking into Folklore but dont know if its worth the R600

The PS3 GHIII bundle version is currently expected in March 2008.. no you did not read that wrong.

As BC said the 360 version without a guitar will be released on November 27th, guitar to follow in March.... no again that is the date I have been given
 
Goddammit.... no idea what I'm gonna do with myself on the 23rd - my 2 most anticipated games of Q3 and Q4 2007 are coming out on the same day.

*checks calendar*

hmm... it's a Friday. Methinks a GH3 party is in order for that night. MyADSL forumites welcome :D
 
Love the guitar hero, but ya...no gonna spend money on my PS2 to get it since I'm but a poor student :( *hitch hikes to jhb*
