Gungubele at Sol-Tech: 'We started a conversation'

You might think so, but you would be mistaken - it will be anything but a relief.

It involves explaining things to comrades in a language they understand.
Oh look, an edgy knucklehead in all its glory.

@vigras rojara you should know when to stop

Another edge lord, lol.

Damn, another firefight between the Cadres and the Koeksisters in this thread. Not even DA/ASA firefights are as hot as this.

LMAO

To get back on topic:
It's ****ing sad, that the minister acts as if this kind of place is out of the ordinary and has never been done before...
The gov (if it wanted to and had the know-how) could easily replicate such quality institutions, but of course, why would they...
It was a case of mistaken identity. Somebody mistook Three Sisters for Koeksisters, now he's trying to save face.

Reminds me of the Koetjies and Kalfies gate crash. He'd do Parratjie Lesufi proud.

Oh, leave him be. I'm enjoying the meltdown.

I'm left wondering what "vreemde dinge" white people do in Gungubele's mind?
In this case specifically he is referring to not being reliant on government handouts.

I actually think there is room for English classes and more "diverse" students. Most afrikaans people will even do English classes or a mix. You can do informal conversations in Afrikaans and terminology(study) in English. Akademia does this wierd translate thing that actually makes it more difficult for students as they use normal English textbooks.

But politics will always get in the way of something more sensible. To protect the institution from corruption you probably need to keep it Afrikaans
