GWM HOVER

I'm also intrigued to know how its doing.

In the Honda thread he never mentioned that it was one of his cars. I never called him out.. not wanting to derail the thread.
This morning I was stuck behind a hover that was smoking so badly I fondly remembered this thread..

There are 2 of them in my area.. and they look like they're in good nick...

Personally I'm not actually interested in the Hover per se, but more their double cab...

Someone should PM him with a link to this thread and ask him to report back ;)

Do it nicely though :D

All said and done - would i buy this again??? HELL YES!! Most definitely! Last couple of cars was FOrd Telstar 2.0GLX, Merc 230 Coupe, Subaru WRX wagon, Audi A4 2.8, Kia Cerato (took from wife after buying he a new car), Honda Accord 2.0 i-VTEC.

I think for comfort and economy etc the Honda wins!! Power and speed would be Subaru with Merc and Audi on par but Audi having more torque definately! But Scooby was doing AVE 430kms on a 62lt tank LOL. I think i had a problem with my foot - it would fall asleep and then slump forward on the accelerator... i think ;)
Seems like he is driving a Honda now.

Now I really want to know about the Hover he so vehemently defended.

Well, I've had mine for more than 3 years and have not had any real issues with it except a clutch problem right at the beginning that was fixed under the guarantee.

The radio buttons are giving some issues though.

Never had a issue with it again, besides, I normally use the usb on the radio and change radio channels often

Drove past a newish looking (the belly was still shiny) GWM the other day in Vryburg. Front suspension was broken. Honestly, most chinese products are awful copies of real stuff.

The most horrific cars after Dacia.

Sadly we live in a time when looks and price count above everything. Bloody sad.

Our neighbor bought a GWM double cab second hand for ludicrously cheap. Had it for a year and the engine seized up. Wooza! Don't buy cheap Chinese crap! The triple C rule :)
