She has been housebound since then, is not allowed to move much and is not allowed to drive so even though I may not be able to go in to the hospital I have to take her there. OOF, sorry dude, strongs. We had a bit of a scare early on with low lying placenta, since then all good though.

Nope didn't ask for any predictions. Just thought somebody in the same position maybe had some info from someone that would be helpful.

I doubt the gyne's rooms are next to a township tavern full of rioting drunkards.

We went off to our appointment yesterday, I say ours but I wasn't actually allowed in so I sat in my car in the Sandton Medi Clinic parking lot for nearly 3 hours working on my laptop. We stopped at the Craighall Pick n' Pay on the way home to pick up some groceries ordered via WhatsApp and this was the first time we saw police or the SANDF.

Glad to hear that things went smoothly. I can actually say that the policing in my town is almost nonexistent, so maybe here in the NW province it's business as usual.
 
I have a neighbour who travels daily to see their son who is in icu. They have a letter from the hospital and never had any issues with police or army harnessing them. As long as you have correct documentation I don't think it would be an issue.
 
Only the patient are allowed in. Husband needs to sit in the car.
