well lets be frank, we're all geeks and get excited at pretty much anything that beeps and whirrs.

But then common sense prevails and we just laugh of the R6300 .. . .
 
My girlfriend also asked me yesterday... "Do you know about the PS3 getting released tonight?".

And she doesn't even know what an Xbox or Wii is.
 
As I've said numerous times, the PS3 will succeed in SA, because the buying public are ****ing clueless and equate video games with Playstation.

just because we have a ps2 at the moment....she feels we should get the new ps3 as its better.

pure woman logic.

she has no idea what is supposedly great about it
 
My wifes friend was asking me about it last night as well, she got her husband the PS2 ages ago and is now thinking about the PS3..

About 5 seconds after I told her the price she asked about the 360.....

There will be a lot of people interested in buying it but I am still unsure how many of them are going to fork over R7000 for a games console and a game for their husbands/kids
 
Lol, as I said this morning, If i'd known Sony were giving away 46" Bravia's at the UK launch of the PS3, I would have flown over and stood in line for a day myself!

And that's from an xboxenista!
 
haha.. this girl thats probably gonna live with me asked me if i was gonna get a ps3 so we could have entertainment, i told her i have a 360 and she didnt really know what it is so kept quiet
 
I think i will get the PS3 when the Xbox 720 is out for R6300 in 2 years from now. :p
 
I'm sure i have heard Microsoft has started developing their next gen console..
