Hack not working

Well, I did some experimenting and I got my speed up to what is is when you're not capped, or throttled. Btw I'm using DAP for downloading and bitcommet for torrents, and downloaded nvidia drivers at about 70KB/s, I know its not fast but still its better than like 8-10KB/s!Got around 60KB/s on torrents but there was LOTS of leachers  !

Hope u guys figure it out!

My downloads start at 40-50kbps for the first 7-8 seconds that sadly drop to a solid 9-12kbps...

There's gotta be a way to workaround the soft-cap......

....and im sure there is, but who's gonna share it?My experiment failed after some minutes, so if anyone knows of something else let me know!

seems they do read the forums, or they dont check they're usage stats that often.
got my bright shiny exessive usage mail last night.

that'll teach not me to "brag" online :D:o:rolleyes:

I've checked out the 'Terms and Conditions' on their website and nowhere is anything mentioned about excessive usage. What reasons did they provide for disconnecting you?

Dear Subscriber
The package you are on, allows for continued access to the network at a reduced speed of 64kbps once you have exceeded the monthly allocated quota. This allows for a maximum of 20GB within a month, in either upload OR downloads following the quota being exceeded. You have exceeded your allocated monthly quota and have also exceeded the maximum usage allowed with a reduced (throttled) connection within a month at the reduced speed. Your access to the network is being suspended.
Your account will be reactivated on the 1st November 2008.
..still got 500mb left on my Vodacom bundle..should keep me going until they get that error 734 thing sorted..I'm not disabling updates.

i know a guy that has/had uncapped iburst for like 2 years and they didn't even deduct money from his account! strange......

iburst is the twilight zone!

That is strange cause I have a friend who did a lot more than 20gigs and he never got any excessive usage email

I think we know the minimum you can dl before they start moaning. Your mileage may vary.
