Hacker reveals e-toll website security flaw

An unofficial security advisory issued by a hacker has warned e-toll users that the PINs used to log into the e-toll website can be easily obtained if their username is known.

The word hacker has such a nasty ring to it. I would rather prefer that people call it security advisor. This country is not equipped with the understanding that white-hat hacking actually benefits companies and the public (as has recently been shown with Vodacom, CellC, Afrihost, two local airlines which did not make news and one bank) - unfortunately government tends to blame anyone else for their incompetence
