Hackers steal iPad data

Two hackers were charged Tuesday with breaking into the AT&T mobile network and stealing data from 120,000 users of Apple's iPad tablet computer, including several celebrities, US officials said.

I would never use a device that stores my personal information on some server, somewhere.

I think by their ability of beating seasoned system administrators and programmers’ security, that they have potential to make a huge contribution to society when applying their skills in a productive manner.

Got to love these hacker boys and girls... Offer them a job rather then taking legal action against them. If they manage to hack AT&T network... who knows what other networks or systems they have hacked...

Nice work - Wikileaks has set a fine example to the world's youth.

WTF has a website that publishes secret government documents got to do with hackers stealing people's data?

It seems about half the people on this forum are permanently high.

The Wikileaks fanboys reckon that everyone's personal data should be public.

Mmm really? Must be a different Wikileaks than I know, because that one believes that government data should be public. They also don't hack any networks that I've ever heard of.

Really? So why are they releasing personal bank details of people?
Oh and dont forget Assange was a hacker.

He might have been yes, but he's not anymore. Also, like people have said many many times on this forum and elsewhere, he's just one of the founders.

And which banking details? I heard they were releasing some info on tax evasions or something, but bank details?

No he was a hacker, not maybe.
And he is the face of Wiki.

He is said to release swiss bank account details, those are private and confidential personal details right? Nothing to do with Governments AFAIAA

Nice going hackers, may we have some celebrities details so we could now stalk them. :p
