I'm in the market for a tripod which I can use with my very old Canon A80 and possible keep if I ever upgrade to a EOS or the like. Since this is just going to be for general use I don't think forking out big bucks for a Manfrotto would be worth it.
I see Kalahari has a range of Hahnel tripods (Triad 30, Triad 40 & Triad 60) for reasonable prices around R500 - R700. I'm particularly interested in the Triad 40 (linked to Amazon since that provides all the specs.)
Has anyone seen/used these? Would it be worth it?
