Half of SA users would change their operator

The thing is, you can change from one network to another.

What i find is that people are scared of doing this. Scared of the unknown, what if the other network is worse then my current one - 24 months is a long time to move to another network.

Which comes to my next point, I took out a rolling 1 month contract with cell c - this eliminates the above issue - down side is you dont get a "free" phone. But it gives me the freedom to go back to previous network should i need to. So far, have not found a reason to go back.

I managed to get hold of a Cell-C sim for a signal strength comparison to decide whether it would be a good idea to port. Tested it in all areas that I would be at most, e.g. work, home, family and even at my friends, the only area where it didn't completely decimate my current Vodacom signal was at my work.

It does make the choice a lot easier to make.

Will be porting to CellC at the end of my VC contract.
