Halo 2 on 360

I ordered Halo 2 on ebay (UK ebay) last Monday, and it arrived yesterday.

Spent quite a bit of time playing it last night, and am very impressed. Running at 720p widescreen, the game's actually quite pretty. Obviously the famed Halo storyline and gameplay are exactly the same, but the gfx are much better than I was expecting for a last gen title.

If anyone with a 360 hasn't played Halo 2, I'd recommend you get it and get familiar with the Halo universe before Halo 3 comes out.

I paid £12.00 including postage for a brand new copy of the game.
 
I was also very impressed with halo 2 on my 360. Another nice one of the old xbox 1 titles you might want to pick up is ninja gaiden black.
 
It is hands down one of the best games to ever come out on ANY console!...it was my introduction to online console gaming and its still #1 when it comes to kicking foreign butt over the internet:D Ive ordered the game and multiplayer map pack for my 360 too...cant wait
 
No, it's faster-paced... more "run in, guns blazing" style.
 
From what I understand, Halo is to Gears, as Battlefield is to Counterstrike, but I haven't really played Halo except "1" on the PC.

I know someone in CT with Ninja Gaiden (not black) if you're looking for it.

I've been waiting for 19 working days for my copy of Halo 2 to arrive from Take 2. I am sooooooooo dying to play this game and after reading this thread, I wanna play it even more. Please hurry up Take 2 !!!!!!!
 
Lol, it took me quicker to order it on ebay and get it here than it's taking Take 2.
 
Speaking of Halo....what/do you think Master Chief is ? A male/female ? A human/alien ? White / black / asian person?

I've got a funny feeling it's a white female (but that would be too Metroid Prime) or a black guy (it does have a deep voice, but that could just be the suit). Anyone care to discus ??? Do you think we will see him/her in Halo 3 ?
 
Ye, my first thought on playing Halo was that Master Chief was a bit of a Samus rip-off.

I dunno though dude, the manual says Master Chief is 7 foot tall and weighs 1/2 a ton. That's one monstrously huge chick.

I think he's a black dude.
 
But that's the suit - it's adds extra height and the suit does look heavy.

Perhaps....he's covenant! Turned good and raised by humans !?!? Wouldn't that be a shocker ?! Hmm...damn I wish that Halo movie was still on the go!
 
im busy get pwned in GoW and the biggest significant difference to halo 2?...is that in Halo2 u can jump...yep, thats it, but that one thing completely seperates the two...imagine being ambushed from behind and jumping OVER ur attacker....unless heuses a shotgun:(

GoW was a 2 night completion. Relatively easy and rather gory with a few sexeh scenes.
