Halo 2 on 360

Well, I can safely say that the more I play this game, the better it gets. Beats GoW hands down IMO. If Halo 3 is has gameplay like this with graphics like I've seen in some screenies etc, it's gonna super mega ultra awesomeness.
 
Still waiting for my copy from Take 2 to arrive. It's now the 25th WORKING day. It supposed to take between 10 and 15 working days.

When I emailed them to ask what's going on, I never got a reply. I'm VERY pissed off with the service from Take 2.
 
The real test is to see whether Webhostingtalk gets his before you, lord_spaceman. He ordered from the same guy in the UK that I did.

BTW: guys u got any lag with Halo2 on Xbox live?...GoW ranked games piss me off with the lag...locally hosted games rock!

For those who bought the last NAG magazine (the one with the Half Life 2 Strider on it) the DVD has a preview of Halo3 on it along with the Armed Assault demo. The preview starts with a little boy and girl laying on the grass.

I've been trying to understand that video over and over again and I keep coming up with different interpretations of it.

Do you perhaps think that either that boy or girl IS Master Chief when they were young, dreaming about being a space marine/explorer ?

I haven't played Halo 2 yet, so I don't understand how the trailer ties in with the end of Halo 2.
 
It doesn't really tie in. It's more of a teazer than a preview to be honest.

As for whether the Master Chief is male or female if you listen closely at the clip there's a part where the guy says, "I think we've lost him....." MC then says "Not yet." before throwing one of those shield nades (those are gonna be cool) into the ground.
 
@ Toxin, I never caught that one before ! (and I don't know how many times I've watched the trailer :) ). But that has made me think about something else...does person/company MC works for, know his identity ?

Yeah, good point there doobiwan. Keeping the MC's identity a secret, will bode well for Microsoft as they can just keep pumping out Halo titles - people will always play Halo and will always wonder about MC's identity.
 
Just watched that trailer on youtube and Halo 3 looks awesome!! I see take2 got the tripple play Halo pack but only the US version will it work on my xbox360 or is the console also region locked ?

Apparently so Blue Collar. The kids in the beginning are real life, but from Master Chief onwards, it's all done by the game engine.

The assets are all in game assets but the trailer itself is CG, which although a bit dissappointing isn't too big an issue.

Check out the "Brutes" video, it's the biggest piece of in game footage released to date and it's ****ing awesome! It's available on Live, and should be available elsewhere as an HD download.

EDIT2: Oh, and another thing about "Starry night", Firstly MC's voice is definitely male, and they also don't show the boys face, it's covered by a shadow.

I got my triple play halo set from ebay.co.uk...it was only 14 pounds but shipping is a pain on the wallet...
