Yes.Sorry might be a silly question, but is the this the server that I want to take out of the list to get local servers?
pfmsqos.southafricanorth.cloudapp.azure.com
Was going to ask the same, because yesterday I dodged most of a needler attack, with only a couple landing, only to die moments laterDoesn't them having a high ping affect you in anyway though? I actually gave up on the game when I wasn't able to get back onto local servers, but since I found this fix I'm gonna give it another go again because that one local game I played was so much fun
I think the netcode isn't that great unfortunately, I play on 4-5ms, yesterday I killed someone, still ran 2 steps, then suddenly I fall over dead and the killfeed says that person killed me with a melee. Was going to ask the same, because yesterday I dodged most of a needler attack, with only a couple landing, only to die moments later
Many other similar instances. And my ping is like 2ms.
It's a first party MS game. Nobody buys anymore, it's "free".Reading the reviews and steam remarks the campaign is missing a lot of stuff, maybe wait for more updates before buying ?
Feels like Cyberfail all over again !!
Yeah I'd never pay the €69 asking price for this. Ridiculous. Game Pass FTFW!It's a first party MS game. Nobody buys anymore, it's "free".
And Cyberpunk is awesome except for those still playing on Sega mega drive...
What are you doing wrong? Putting the IP's of all of the other servers (except the South African one) to direct to 0.0.0.0 makes the game think it can't connect to those servers, so it forces itself to SA.Hope this isn't a stupid question, but I don't see how adding static routes to the servers can block traffic. Surely it makes more sense to block them at a firewall level? I have added all the static routes, but I still get put into games with high ping. I'm really enjoying the game, but the high ping games kill me!!

Thanks, but I'm on console so I'm using the static route method. I understand with the hosts file that we 0 the IPs so there is no route to the servers, but I'm confused about adding static routes on console as surely this would do the opposite of the hosts file with 0 IPs?What are you doing wrong? Your hosts file should look like this:
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Thanks very much. I'll play around with my settings and see.I have successfully set it up for my Xbox by setting the static routes in the router. So I added all the servers except SA. You then need to ensure it's working as expected by trying to tracert one of the supposed blocked servers via a PC on your network (don't ping, they won't respond even if the routing is fine). If the tracert works it's not being blocked correctly.
I guess in theory you could just block the servers on your firewall instead of static routing - the whole point is to block the request before it gets out of the local network.
I only ever find SA-hosted games now.
