One of these and either a pressure or slow cooker and you are sorted.
 
Saw a Sunbeam 1300Watt model @ Makro for R600.00. Is the Sunbeam a good one? Looks like it comes with two trays that fits in the glass bowl.

Not sure, the Sunbeam from Makro looks a bit more modern than the one from Takealot. Check if it says stainless steel rack (grill rack, roasting rack, tray rack or whatever).

I think they are basically all more or less the same, my Logik came with 2 grill racks and an extender ring thing to increase capacity.

I see I can order one on our incentive program. They have this model. It is much better looking also than the model at Makro. This one has digital controls also, the one in Makro had knobs you have to turn.

Quite the expensive exercise to buy everything from scratch. When I moved out I just bought the cheapest OK-ish appliances I could find, the plan was to replace them with better ones when they broke eventually. So far I have replaced the microwave, iron, washing machine (was second hand at the time) and vacuum cleaner.

Irons and vacuum cleaners never seem to last anyway. Saw a Bosch front loader 7kg for R4999.00 on promo which is very cheap for a Bosch. Was tempted to buy it but will only buy big appliances when moved in dont have storage space for it :-(
