Hamachi and Lanbridger help

Hi All

Just wondering for all those people who use hamachi to lan games what is your average ping?

I tried using lanbridger last night but everytime I reconnected or reset my pc I have to resend & recreate my public profile. I think its because of our dynamic ips. The people connected to me had a ping of 120ms once connected.

I've had limited experience with Ham...

I didnt have any issues with getting it all setup, it actually went smoothly. The only thing that confused me a bit was sometimes I had a "limited" connection, I think it was a blue dot or something, instead of that green(?) star.I dont think dynamic has anything to do with it hey... Coz I am running dynamic

In terms of ping times, I was playing COH with a mate up the road and our pings were about 80ms. I was quite impressed, only problem is CHOWS cap!

When u say CHOWS cap how much, when using lanbridger I went through about 200mb last night playing for about 3 hours.

I think it was about 700mb for a full evening( about 6 hours) of Company of Heroes, which is a lot for people who only have 3GB a month!!

I guess its not optimized to run over the net, considering WoW uses about 150MB for a whole DAY!! Well when I used to play anyway, might be a bit different now with the latest patches... dunno!
