My hands, rather my fingers, have been shaking uncontrabbly when my hand is in a certain position. I think I took notice of it begining of this year, but I took as me being in a stressed sitution. Now for the past week my hands have been shaking even more. This past week has been very stressful but even now after the stress has past my hands still shake in a certain position.
Positions I've noticed :
-Left hand while holding camera up
-Left thumb shakes when trying to text.
- Right pink & ring finger when typing on keyvoard and the fingers are elevated.

Hopefully this is something due to stress, but even then I cannot have this happening. As anyone experienced this? Should I see a specialist (what type?)? If so, anyone know of well known specialist in the East Rand?

Could be neurological? Bud go check it out. I just do not understand people leaving medical conditions for long.
Go and see a specialist could be nothing, could be something serious.

I have the same thing, mine's from muscle tension due to panic attacks/anxiety I feel frequently, muscle relaxation therapy helps.

just the hand, no twitches of the eye or anything else?
Just the hand.

What kind of specialist?

I'm really concered that this pitched up out of nowhere.

tsume, I wouldn't worry too much about it, I have had that many times already. I am pretty sure it is because of stress, nerves, whatever. Wait for a while and see if it goes away.

Are you HIV positive? Go see a doc Asap. Shaking on only ONE side of the body (arm, leg, etc) can be pretty serious. However, when both arms, hands, feet etc. are shaking is mostly stress related. And is it twitching or shaking? (shaking is ways more dangerous then twitching)

Could also be diabetes best to check it out, you could also try taking omega 3/6 supplements. try taking 1000mg a day for 10 days and see if your symptoms improve.

I have a omega 3/6 deficiency which has neurological symptoms..... tsume if have Eczema and dandruff to I'm preety sure it's a omega 3/6 deficency
There are certain things that occur that need to be ruled out. When these things show themselves go straight to a doctor or specialist. Money well spent IMO

MMMMMMMM.

Are you an overly anxious individual?

Could be a thyroid problem, adrenal gland disorder, blood sugar or generalized anxiety disorder.

See your GP and take this online test,Its pretty good in terms of self help.

My ex's mom went to 3-4 specialists, she had bad heart burn, the found nothing.
The 4th or 5th doc found a spot on her stomach, turned out to be cancer, had her stomach removed.

Just go to a doctor and discuss it.

Could be a simple musculoskeletal disorder. Doctor would be able to refer you.
