Hard Drive Disk Acoustic adjustment

Hello every one, I recently installed a copy of Hard Disk Sentinel on my PC and I have noticed that the Acoustic level is on Minimum and a description shows 'Min performance and volume'

Should I increase it or not? Are there any hidden damages I could face? Will it fork up my hard drive?

Maximum preformance is with disabled AAM. With slider in max position AAM is still enabled. You can disable AAM completely in HDAT2 beta.
