Hi guys,

When starting up my laptop, it goes to the windows logo and then reboots to the system recovery. But before getting to the options, the laptop freezes.

I have done the system scans and get an error that hard disk is full (305). The scan is at 0% for full disk scan.

Any advice?

Boot a Linux Live CD/DVD, mount the HD and see from there.

Do you have any disk test in BIOS? Check if disk info reported by BIOS matches the label on the hard drive (model number, serial and LBA). Don't try boot Windows from this hard drive anymore. Don't try system restore or checkdisk to repair file system.
Use Hiren's boot CD or individual bootable disk utilities. Post SMART report, then if it looks bad and data is important clone the drive immediately. If data is not important - scan entire disk for errors/delays, post results.
