Windows 7 Machine wont boot at all.

Tried: safe mode
Booting an antivirus from USB
Booting windows 7 repair tool from USB

I then removed the harddrive and placed it in a external housing and connected it to my working computer

My working PC can only read the one partition and asks me to format other partition with windows on it. Obviously I cant format the HD because I don't want to loose the data.

How do I access the partition with Windows on it and repair it?

thanks

First check the SMART status and scan it for errors before you do anything else.

Thanks for the advice

Please see results here:

Drive has bad sectors and is unable to hide them. See #5, #196. #197.
Firmware corruption or very weak heads. Stop using drive, clone it now (as long you can, as it can be worse).

So its stuffed and needs replacing?

I can only access the one partition and that partition has almost no info on it.

It is 'stuffed' in that you won't want to use it again. Is the data on the other partition vital? If so then you can either:

1) Try DIY recovery - might work, or you risk making problem worse and losing data forever.
2) Book it in for data recovery and get your data back.

Yes, it's only gonna get worse.

That's because the bad sectors fall within the first partition, for now.
