That's a good price but who the heck buys AA or AAA in 2021??
Buy some high quality NiMH rechargeables and don't buy batteries again for the next 10-15yrs.
It's just maths guys..

It's also more convenient, pop them in the charger and good as new again. They also have lower internal resistance so your toys work better with them vs Alkaline.

I don't use them myself.
That post was not meant for you, you Know It All.
It was meant for people who still use them, nothing more, nothing less.

I got Duracells many many moons ago and use a Panasonic charger, you just have to google what is available and then check reviews. There's a whole community of people that hunt the best cells.

Panasonic Eneloops were the best at one stage and a certain type of Duracell stay charged were apparently rebranded Eneloops so I got them. They have worked amazingly, mine are going on 12yrs old and I haven't noticed any significant capacity drop.

Most 18650 li-ion chargers can also do NiMH so I also use a Nitecore charger depending on where I am.

I use a lot of rechargeables but in some use cases I'd rather use desposable. E.g remotes, some toys or devices where the rechargeable battery would be worth more than the device especially where I am concerned that the toys would be damaged (think water damage) or lost.

I tried them in a blood pressure monitor and it didn't work. It only takes disposables. Then in remotes they usually only last a few months at most as opposed to the original supplied batteries but those usually last longer than the remotes so I still have some spares.

You guys make a fair point but even in remotes you recoup your money spent on NiMH in a year or 3.

And you save the environment, win-win!
 
Apparently there are batteries (AAA & AA) that you recharge via a type C normal charging cable.
never seen them only heard about them
