Crap support, crap build quality (in most of their laptops), crap internal quality, crap parts availability, crap software/driver support... Ever been inside one? I've been inside many, and Asus laptops are probably the worst in general.
Got my Zenbook for a while now. Love it. No need for any support to be honest thus far. Love the screen and keyboard.

Looking at a Dell 7 series (7490 I think) with 10th gen i5, 500 nvme and 16gb ram around 12k. But might consider new.. still sniffing around
I have a 7420 with the 11th gen i7, quite similar in design so if you have any questions about them, post up here

No, games supported on M1 work really well. I installed Steam recently and 95% of my vast library is available.
Supporting and being behind are not mutually exclusive.

Also, I thought the myth that the M1 is faster than the Intel and AMD equivalents have been debunked? It is faster in some workloads, but definitely not all. It's main advantage is the incredible efficiency.

Hmm put that in the wifes car cause the Afrihost data 2GB is not lasting a month of driving to school and back :)
Might be backups in the background taking advantage of the wifi.

Nah I know what it is :-) youtube videos my son watches on the way to school, or he is playing some mobile game, or my wife forgets to reactivate her wifi.

Debatable but you want a heater in your laptop? OK.

It’s faster than anything else within the same power budget. Power budget being one of the most important factors of a laptop. You could put a 3090 in there and say you’ve won at gaming, but what would the point be, exactly?
