I'm looking for a new work mouse and spotted the Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless from Makro for R999. Seems like a good deal?

Amazing mouses but it's for right-handed use only so you can't change hands which is quite an important thing to prevent getting repetitive use injuries. To get round that I got the Logitech MX travel mouse, also an awesome mouse.

Even at 24" HD is insufficient. I currently have a 24", you can see the pixel's at desktop distance. I've been seeing these 27" HD and I'd love to get a bigger screen but without 4k it's going to be pointless. Granted this is all relative to your personal standards so opinions will vary.

27” 1440p is the sweet spot on Windows IMO. 4K scaling is still not great.

In windows 10 for instance, if you go into desktop properties, you can set scaling to 100%, 125%, 150% or 175%

This usually compensates fine for me for high resolutions like 1080p or above

That is your opinion, just like others opinion is that 1080P is too low for a 27" monitor...

That might be true, but lots of people don't know how to set scaling, font sizes etc in their OS to get rid of 'blockiness' and other issues

Even with scaling I found 4k at 27” had issues. On MacOS it’s a different story. But 1440p screens don’t need any mucking around on Windows. I’m using a 24” 1200p screen atm though, it’s fine for my work at home.

Another setting people forget about is the cleartype text. On win10, press start button and type 'cleartype' and select the cleartype box and follow the wizard.

This is especially handy when running your monitor at a non optimum resolution e.g. setting res at 720p on a 1080p monitor - it gets rid of the 'blockiness'

The MX master has a good compromise. Charging with USB, and you can still use the mouse while charging.

Or mice with a charging dock. The dock is usually a good idea, except when you toss your mouse into your laptop bag when going home.
