Its all about preference. My kids love being able to control lights with minis.

Walking in house (its kinda big) without your phone, happens a lot at home for me.

And broadcasting you need speakers/devices to broadcast to. Personally love the nest hubs. To check security cameras, play YTM videos, etc.

One major missing issue is the breaking of glass feature that amazon has.

Yeah, I like to lie in bed and turn off the lights outside etc as well as bed lamps. I also programmed it to say something specific when I say goodnight. My wife rolls her eyes every time and does not do what google tells her to do...
 
Any deals on external HDD’s? Anything 4tb and up 2.5” ideally. Saw TA have some deals but checking if there anything better?

Yes looking out for the same, but note that all these drives will be SMR at that capacity, not PMR or CMR. So only consider them for cold storage - archive type of use (as their write speeds can be very slow). Only 1 or select 2TB drives will not be SMR at 2.5".

Not sure about their SSDs, but TeamGroup has been around since the 90's, and the RAM they used to make back then was pretty decent quality.

Didn’t think I of that.

Basically moved from a PC to Laptop. Want to copy over data from 2x 2tb 3.5” drives to external drive so I can access on laptop.

Mostly just pics, music, files etc. Won’t be accessed all the time but occasionally and for more storage.

Don’t really want to get 3.5” enclosures as they require separate power too and just looks messy.
 
Can anyone recommend good wireless earphones that does multi connect (two devices at once) and has good call clarity (not overly expensive) and not worried about anc?

Thank me later. Has ANC as well, hi res certified. Only downside is micro USB.

Change the pad cushions to a set of brainwaves then. I’ve had a pair, they are excellent value for money and for me, we’re not on ear. Not sure where you saw that.

Use case for connecting two devices at once? I think the Galaxy buds plus can do seamless connection switching (no need to unpair everytime just click to connect) but they don't support multipoint.

Jabra advertises multipoint on some of their models but they say it's for connecting two phones, not a laptop and smart TV for example. Ref:
