Yeah thats my problem, so I can get a Herman Miller Aeron for around the same price so I would instantly drop and go for that, plus found a decent Merryfair WAU for R5k so if I had to stretch my budget I would probably go with those instead.

Honestly, my advice is to go to a store and physically sit in the chairs they have if possible.

The one I though I was gonna buy was absolute garbage, so I ended up with a more expensive one that felt 100X better to sit in.

I hear you. But at the same time, if you're gonna be sitting in it 2+ hours a day it's better to get the one that wont screw you up for life. You dont realize how messed up your back gets from shitty chairs/seating positions till you sit in a proper chair for a few hours.
 
Just a quick note to share my experience....

I ordered a S8 Ultra on Black Friday from a local company, the deal was very good, but not an obvious error. The price I paid was R17k. Amazon was doing deals for ~$900 excl shipping.

The tablet arrived on Tuesday, and about 5 hours later I got a call to say "Whoops, we made a mistake... That price was for the standard, not the Ultra. Can we please send our courier to collect, have you opened it?"

I said I'd opened it, so they suggested I pay in the difference of R8k for the price it was supposed to be. I said that is unreasonable, and I reject that proposal. They then ask how much I would pay in... I obviously said zero.

I've obviously had orders cancelled before, and I accept that 9 times out of 10 - if a deal looks too good to be true, it'll probably not be honoured.... Never had this before though :)

Disclaimer: I'm not very finnicky / particular about chairs, but - I have a Makro gaming chair and I find it quite comfy. I use it for WFH, so I'm in it all day, every day. Just my 2c

Yeah, my chair is honestly "fine", in winter - RedDragon COEUS

It's now that it is summer that it really sucks (even with aircon).
I feel that just the mesh is going to make a huge difference for comfort in that regard, and the fact that the seat is fabric, and not pleather (referring to the Karo BackLogic)
 
Regarding the chairs. I have a Cecil Nurse one similar to this one they have currently. Amazing chair.

Ja, that's my concern too. What are you giving up by buying something middle-of-the-road. The reviews seem good, but I am not sure how discerning the taste of the average Takealot shopper is...not looking for anything to blow us out of our seats, but some volume over and above the little 20W jobbies that the TV has would be appreciated.

Which cheap ones? The only one I know with that issue was that jvc thing. Every other one I've had since has been fine.
Granted 1 was R16k, the next one was R3.5k but I did get 2 cheap Hisense for R500 each and those surprised me.
2 out of my soundbars don't have subs though

The most experience I have was with an entry-mid Samsung 2.1. My QLED had better sound quality (obviously not as much bass as the 2.1 though).

Difficult knowing about audio quality when the extent of most people’s knowledge nowadays is loudness and bass.
