Some of us have to work!!!!

Trying to call that incredible to see if they have anything left, if they do i can head out there... they just stick u into the music system thing

Haha, apparently an unknown concept to many capetonians :)

I know I'd have been in those overnight queues.
 
Don't suppose anyone knows of any i7 laptop bargains ? IC have an Acer for R20k but there are things in there I dont need (Like Blu-Ray Writer)
 
Got a 120gb playstation slim at IC today R2999, queues were ridiculous. Got there at 6:45, inside the store by 7:45, PS3 in hand by 7:46 (there seemed to be way more than 50?) Left store after 10:00.

Checkout was a disgrace! None of the promotional items i.e. the stuff everyone was buying, was loaded on the copmputers so the cashiers were literally paging through the newspaper ads to find the special prices.

I would say the experience was barely worth the suffering, but at least my new slimline found a good home ;)

Not interested in any of the PC stuff? T260s? HDDs?

All in all, 3 hours and 15 minutes well spent I would say :)

Ok so i called incredible corruption and they still had a few of those Compaq netbooks. I went to go and buy one. On it right now, its pretty cool. Keyboard is a little tight but i rate it will just take some time to get used to. Not gonna use this to write full documents, just to play around on. Just need to wait for my ubuntu netbook remix download to finish :)

OH they were still crazy busy at both incredible connection and even more so at hifi corp!!!
