Yeah, especially seeing as Samsung haven't had nearly as many troubles as Seagate did with their 7200.11 drives![]()
Please don't tell me your trying to compare Samsung with Seagate? The volume of drives sold by Seagate (across all .x drives) versus the amount of failures is minute.
So yes the .11 debacle was a bit of a blemish but how many times before that and after that has there been major issues? They are the market leader in desktop storage for a reason.
Everyone who works with TB's of data will tell you that Seagate is the way to go, but if your willing to gamble with your data then it cant be worth much anyway
Samsung make microwaves and tv's and neither of the two have been known to store data. Western Digital have lost the plot with data storage. Seagate well still the best by a long way just a pity the 5 year warranty has fallen away.
