Cybercircus? Where they get rid of all their old stock? I got a 1TB IOMEGA from them in one of those....Died after a year or so but the drives inside lived....

Yeah, I actually Googled this model and popped onto Amazon... a disturbing number of reviews stating that the drive died after a few weeks! Another review stated that the drive inside is the latest Seagate drive.

Indeed. When I got mine, it was R1800. Which at that time was really good value even just for the 2 x 500GB drives inside. The casing was huge and loud in any case, but the drives are still running well.

In this case, you are probably better just buying a 1.5TB drive and a decent enclosure and throwing it in there.

Ahhh.. ffs.. thats why it doesn't work at home for me.....

the toshiba 1tb ones are realy nice drives running cool all the time come pre formated in FAT32, i have mine that i bought in november at matrix for R1100 and its worth it, very cool and quiet drive
