Have been looking for a cheap colour laser to print photos etc for a while now

I've yet to find a 'good' review for this printer unfortunately. The main complaints are the $$$ you have to spend to replace the sample toners included with the printer and the seemingly sub-par build quality :(

Can this be? IC Deal. If they use wrong prices and wrong product advertisement, am I allowed to ask for the 2TB, 2.5" they are talking about?

I was there yesterday and I phoned their call center. They will not honor that price. It was a typo.

But if you get it right please let me know where.

It's printed so take the paper with and hold them to it.

edit - Decotey, damn.

What happened to the days of people honoring these mistakes.
That is why you proof read ads before publicly printing them.

The serial number (83094) also refers to the 3.5'. I would agree with you if it referred to the 2.5'. I left work early rushed over there and moaned for 30 mins but no one budged in the slightest :( .

Really sucks.. IC is corrupt in that way

So buy one and throw it away then the toner runs out.

New printers only come with limited amounts of toner. You will usually only get a few hundred pages out of the initial toner cartridges. It seems that there are no decent compatible cartridges available for this printer at the moment so one will need to purchase Samsung cartridges at a steep premium. Even if you can get hold of suitable colour toner, the chips on the cartridges need to be replaced which are also quite expensive (~R80 each).

EDIT: Here is a YouTube video on how to refill the CLP-365 cartridges if anybody is interested. The starter cartridges do not appear to be "chipped" but it seems that one needs to purchase a suitably modified firmware from the eBay seller pfalchi2010 to get the printer to accept the refilled cartridges.
