The items have all been closed from what I understand, they are aware of all the pricing issues.
I'm still looking at items at giveaway prices. Will probably take them some time to sort through it all. They should just pull the plug for half an hour and sort it out.
 
Called now and apparently 'orders made via the Web still haven't been processed, only once processed they can provide stock information'

Indeed... my brother added SSD drives without issue ... phoned them to query, and the lady he spoke to said the prices were indeed correct.

So what gives ?
 
Should I go ahead then and pay the eft for my BoB order? Or wait to hear from them?

I ordered and eft'ed last night already. BOB mailed my confirmation of payment last night already. its only 300 but lets see what happens.

I've just done my EFT - I'd rather take the chance and get my items than wait too late. At worst they'll have to pay me back a few hundred so I'm not too worried about it.

I see all the items are now off the site.
Anyone paid via EFT on the site?
Yes - you had to select coorporate account at checkout. If you did they would have emailed you an invoice with their details.
 
They didn't email, I see my cart has also been emptied.
Missed the boat I guess. I suppose they could still empty my cart even though I've already done the EFT - I wouldn't hold it against them if they did, though I hope they don't. If they actually honor these purchases I'll be incredibly impressed and might even be back there in the future to do more shopping. It's the best 'sale' the country has ever seen - kicks takealot's blackfriday deal in its a$$ :).

Don't think anyone can really be blamed here. Unless they want to fire the entire operations team? Its kinda what happens when you using live feeds from websites. You run the risk of carrying through multiple errors. Also, the fact they dont have 24/7 support. They honestly could have caught this on day 1 when their shopping list suddenly went from everything in stock to negative numbers.
 
so anyone know whats happening?should i be making an EFT?
