Edit: I see it says OOS online so there is a link below suggesting a Verbatim one that is USB 3.0 only for R1100.00 (not sure of delivery here so confirm).

Link to that product says in stock at time of this writing.

Some pros and cons.

First the Cons:
-Very short USB 3.0 cable.
-Not interchangeable to use with other devices.
-Very noisy compared to my WD,ADATA,HP & Samsung external units. About 4x louder than an HP MicroServer.

Pros:
-Power Switch.
-Ability to set sleep via bundled software.
-Compatibility for older OS out of the box is a nice touch.
-2 year warranty.

Above based on using it for about a day .

The only 3TBs on that link are the Toshiba from HiFi and the Seagate from Game. Not sure where you see a 3TB Verbatim from Makro?

The first part of my post above was about getting the 3TB from the IC special that came partitioned to changing it back and in keeping with the topic, i mentioned a special from Makro that is a 750GB drive + 2x 16GB flash drives @ R699.00. Sorry about the confusion o_o.

She offered me WD my book 3tb for 1k , so i took it , currently retails for R1700
