Yeah its pitty the usb 3 pcie low profile cards , needs molex connector to work
Or you could of just stuck a card in and use them on usb 3.
You can still do that, just get a "Y"-connector for one of the Molex cables.
I added 2x 2.5" drives to the 5.25" bay using a Vantec Nexstar SE caddy.
Now I can add 2x 2TB 2.5' drives and they are hot-swappable.
Turns out the WD special won't even cost me a cent. When I asked my mom if she wanted one she said she'd get me one for my bday in June. I've armed her with the printed ad and the store opening time.

My mom is still standing in Game waiting for them to sort out the price of the WD HDD. Luckily I printed the ad with the date disclaimer on page 1 for her, which is the only reason they believe her claim that the product is on promotion. She got there just after 9.

There are 20 3TB external drives left at Game Oakdene
Sold out at Sandton City.
Had a chuckle when the guy this morning @ 9:05 told me that they had 15 in stock and there was no need to reserve a unit.
Thankfully, I insisted on reserving a unit. The packaging states that it's from 2011. Did game find a washed-ashore container from Taiwan filled with external drives from two years ago?
So far all good (drive self-check and conveyance both checked out A-OK, extended self-test @ 4 out of 6.5 hours).

hmmm ACT link( supplier in cape town) send me email now, they selling WD my book 3tb for 999 ex vat , wonder if they bought it at game and reselling it!
