I think the Onyx is worth the money you are spending on it. I would go for a second hand lenovo s6000 if I were you.

It looks like it is standard memory stick dongle with extra converter unit which works the same as OTG cable. Buy one, you can probably use it with other USB sticks.
 
Hi All,

My desktop and laptop are both starting to give problems, constantly freezing or switching off. I've had all the obvious checks done but essentially I think it's time for a new machine. I really don't need anything fancy or advanced, just a basic slave machine to run backups, run iTunes, downloads, and manage my media. Any suggestions on what to get right now or any current specials? I already have a screen. I see Makro currently have a special on a Lenovo http://www.makro.co.za/p/20981/lenovo-20-monitor-pdc-all-in-one-with-20-monitor/ which is beautiful but I think would be overkill in my case.

Usually the best prices I find is either at Dc3 or Landmarkpc.co.za, but landmark's site is down. Take a look there tomorrow.
