Is there a minimum qty or rand value that you need to order from these guys?
Does anybody have an idea of what the charges for customs would be if I bought some stuff to the value of about R1000?

The goodies I ordered from them was around R1500 in total (spread over 2 physical parcels but ordered the same time) and I paid around R200 at the Post Office (which included VAT - so the customs portion was very little if any! I think it was actually only VAT - I had to fax the invoices through to the Internationl Mailing centre of the SA Post Office to enable then to calculate all this). I ordered a 7" LCD TV/Monitor, SATA (eSATA/USB) docking station and a few cables and cards. All arrived in good condition, no problem!

As others have said, no minimum value/qty on order.

I can really recommend them!

Sounds good!
I needs one!

Mmm, though I do see that Zones has a Samsung 1.5TB for R899.

3.5" internal SATA 32mb Cache.

Any of the Debben okes willing to go around and ship it down for me? :D

How much do external casings and PSU's for them go for?

Oh hell, let me first pay for gym before I caught up here

HP 615 laptops are very good value.

Especially the 2.1GHz AMD dual core for under R5000.

I have me one of those and it's great! Fast and sleek looking. Cost me just over 4k from the dealers. Just upgraded RAM from 1GB to 4GB, as well as the HDD from 160GB to 320GB.
All-in-all it's a great laptop for around R5000 (incl my upgrades)

I don't know how good these external hard drives are. As I told my one friend about the special but when he got there. The Makro salesman actually advised him not to buy it....

Ever think that the salesman was chasing customers away so there'd be stock for him and his friends? ;) :p :D
