That is possible.

But the salesperson would also earn commission on the sales.

The salesperson mentioned that apparently there were a lot of returns...

Errr...why? If you're talking about you not ACTUALLY getting exactly 1000gb of storage on a 1tB drive, people who have been in the PC world for a while take this for granted.

Yet they still quote it is as 1000GBs, suckering poor uninformed people of 68.68GBs. It's blatant false advertising if you ask me...

Personally, I prefer the way it is now.

I suppose it's in my daily routine to scan this thread from the last post that I've read previously to catch up.

A forum of deals, would not go down well with me really.
