Called another nearby IC (not mentioning address) and they have them as well. Reserved one for meself.

Yes, I managed to do that about an hour ago. I saw the ad online last weekend but didn't have the time then. Went today with a printout of the ad. Game hadn't put up a price correction on the website or in the store - so I very firmly indicated that they had to give it to me at that price. Didn't have stock, but did give me a printout reserving me a drive at the 899.98 price. I did have to ask for a manager though

As somebody else pointed out, Game seems to do this very often - I went in for the 2" 2TB drive (Verbatim I think it was) and by that stage because they didn't have the stock item on their system (because I don't think such a drive exists) they told me they would get back to me, at which stage they had the letter of apology from their head office, so told me that the ad had been a mistake.

Nah. Clearwater. Thank you @rubber_otter. I got them. The cables are long enough. It looks like quite a few IC shops have them. Where can I get the screws to mount them?

I got there. Sorry sir no stock. Wrote down my details, and I showed the guy the add. He says it's a new product, and he hasn't had any stock. So he took my name, and after 48 hours I hadn't heard anything. Put a little thing on HelloPeter, got back to me in less than 3 hours. Next day I went and got my drive. Scanned it, and it scanned for 1299. I refused to leave before I got my drive for 899. Which I did eventually.

Can you put a link to the HelloPeter complaint?
I also did the same, went to store, no stock, got slip saying I came in before special end date and am due the drive at the special price, was told I would be contacted... still waiting...
