Well, isn't that a bit of a redundant question? I thought they're rated the same mAh.

I have the 10400mAh (5200mAh and and 7800mAh too), can't complain, if you need more power go for the latter, and both are Sailing.

The latter might be big though! Like huge...

Sailing 4 is 10400mAh ans Sailing 5 is 13000mAh - or am I missing something?

Just want something that will work and be able to charge the 2 devices without dying after 5 minutes.

I thought the reason you asked - I thought they were both rated at the same mAh, and found it hard to decide.

Difference here is distinct. Both are Romoss Sailings: 10400mAh vs 13000mAh for the same thing. The bigger one makes more sense.

In terms of physical dimensions, I see they're the same on TA.

I very rarely charge my phone fully from the romoss. usually up to 50%. incase im still going to be away from power for a prolong period. then i know I have juice left in the romoss.

For R80 difference it makes sense going for the bigger Sailing 5.

Just want to confirm, these do work well and don't take forever to charge or die very quickly?

Well, they charge your device quite quickly.

My LG G4 is rated @ 3000mAh, so in theory (with the 10400mAh) I can get 3 full charges plus some mAh. But in practice you'll use your phone whilst on the charge, and won't fully charge it, have WiFi on while charging, etc different scenarios, so in that case won't get 3 full charges.

Should be good for some time before battery deteriorates, like my 5200mAh is performaing poorly than its initial months.

Another thing to note, please don't charge your powerbank overnight, charge it when you can disconnect after it's fully charged.

I noticed when I use the wall charger and use the phone, it takes quite long to increase battery percentages, but with Romoss it's quite swift.

OK great thanks.

Going to order the Sailing 5.

Guys, you need to work on 70% of the rating and not 100%. There is energy lost along the way, most powerbank lose close to 30%

Bought a sailing 3 yesterday. I like that it comes with a nifty little LED torch. :o

Also bear in mind that no power bank is 100% effective (some energy would be lost in the charging process). Rosmoss claims a 90% efficiency on the Sailing range (Samsung cells) AFAIK.

Unless you have special high-capacity needs, get smaller capacity unit. Higher capacity cells of the same physical size will not last as long.

The sailing series is rated at 85% efficiently, so you only get 85% of the mah rating. More or less. The solo might be lower.

Edit, I see park best me to it

So sailing would be the one to go for?

I will need a device that can charge two iPhone 6 Plus (more times the better) as we will be travelling end of November to USA and then to london and the flight is 17 hours - what power bank would you recommend? I am trying to find out if the plane has USB ports to charge too.

Rather get one for each phone, I have the Sailing 5 and it is perfect but it drains quickly if you have two phones attached.

I am going to buy another one for my wife.

The number in the names refer to the number of 18650 Li ion cells they have, Sailing 4 has 4 x 2500mah Samsung 18650 cells etc. Samsung make some of the best Li ion cells, no name cells can have less than half of the designated capacity.

Anyone here know of a good headset with decent mic in the under R900 price range?

Looking at the Razer Kraken USB essential surround sound.

Mainly so I can say "release the kraken!"
