Are you sure you didn't buy the touch instead of the glo?
The glo does have the backlight.

Once you have one with a back light there's no going back to the plain one, so awesome read anywhere with perfectly lit text. Sorry to aggravate those that couldn't find one, now I know what it feels like to be on the other side!

Read it as the touch screen on his unit.
Been a long week

That's not the glo. You bought the kobo touch. The glo has kobo written on the bottom front

Damn and they gave it to me in in this box.
Box was open, I thought they opened it to check the contents.

Wow that's sneaky of them. I would complain on social media. Taking it back to the store they will just offer you a refund. You might have a better chance getting a replacement on fb or something

I do have the backlight, I was explaining the difference between the two.
