Wow that's sneaky of them. I would complain on social media. Taking it back to the store they will just offer you a refund. You might have a better chance getting a replacement on fb or something

It's also very possible that someone switched readers way back before the price drop. Effectively walking out the store with a glo in a touch box.

Yea sold out here as well, have a Kindle touch and kobo is really not bad for R400. Was thinking of upgrading to paperwhite but the glo would have been a great start

This is true. Kindle Paperwhite is over R2000

Loving the Glo so far, pity I'm just testing it before i give it to my mom and go back to my kindle 4th gen. No touch no light

It's smaller than the kindle, but has the same screen size. Expandable storage is also nice. And the great thing is the amount of tweaking you can do to margins,font size and font type. Also shows page numbers
