The curved screen is a marketing gimmick. I've got a dell 27" and it's awesome, sadly it's only 1080p though.

Honestly if you're in that price range, you'd rather save up and go UHD/4K.

Yes ,but i Will rather recommend a smaller size 4k tv . Tv series are now coming out in 4k. Movies will soon be out in 4k.

I bought one of these 3 months ago for R11,999 at Dion Wired, mine included the motion/touch remote control and two 3D glasses thou.
