Hardware Bargains

What computer bargains are there to buy at kalahari with the voucher expiring today?

Huh? No, 15% back in eBucks is equivalent to 15% in rand value. So spend R100 at Checkers and one would get 150 eBucks / R15 back.

edit: Of course one would have to be on the top rewards tier to get 15% back.
Correct, SYNERGY is wrong. I get 15% back of the cash value spent at Checkers. I am of-coarse on the top tier, level 5 on my cheque account.

The ebucks you earn from TakeAlot is not nearly the same value you can earn at Checkers. So unless the pet food from TakeAlot is more than 15% cheaper than Checkers, it is not worth buying it from TakeAlot.

I meant the 15% back in checkers is in eBucks. (10 eBucks = R1.)
So effectively, whatever amount is spent, say R100 @15% = R1.5 eBucks Rand value.
TakeAlot's discount (Price difference) is bigger.

Unless - I'm mistaken and you earn the 15% in Rand value? IE: Spending R100 in checkers and earning 150 eBucks which is then equal to R15...

Don't really shop at Checkers with my FNB Card.

Edit: Bleh, just checked https://www.ebucks.com/web/eBucks/partners/checkers-and-shoprite.jsp

You are correct 15% total spend

Can you guys and/or girls help me with some info.

My sister is a teacher and her external hardrive just crashed and she wants to replace it. She had a 350gig, it’s for work and some series, so she does not need anything to big. We are thinking in the lines of a 500 gig, 1TB if the price is not too bad.

Any suggestions please?

Sorry If I should not have posted this here, but I searched some and I do not want to create a new thread for this:D

i have a seagate ssd for a few months now and never given me anyprobs

so i guess its not a bad brand :)

I saw this on the Game leaflet as well, is Seagate a good make?

Seagate & Western Digital are the 2 De Facto standards. They produce the bulk of HDD's.

Other brands are Samsung, Hitachi etc

I would go with Takealot thou, free delivery.
