If anyone in CT is keen to split the Esquire AC Ryan + 1tb deal let me know. I'm only keen on the hard drive.

The 285 is R500 cheaper and will deliver relatively similar performance.

No it wont. The 285 is a replacement for the regular 280, not the 280X. The 280X also has 3GB of RAM, so you'll be able to game at higher resolutions and it should be a bit more future-proof. The 285 is aimed at the GTX760, while the 280X destroys the GTX770 in many benchmarks.

That being said, the Powercolor 280X is apparently an iffy buy, as the PCB isn't of the highest quality and the cooler isn't that efficient. This card generates a LOT of heat, so make sure you get one with a decent cooler (like Gigabyte or MSI) or install extra cooling in your chassis. Preferably both. I've got a Gigabyte 280X and it reaches 95 degrees under load, but I don't have extra cooling in my (admittedly small) chassis (Bitfenix Colossus M).

Good advice right here.

Thanks guys, all will be taken into account.

Hey fellow myBB'ers,

I've got a mate looking for a reasonably priced 10inch tablet with wi-fi + 3G. My first thought was Nexus but I'm not really up to speed.

Any ideas?
